m. Select WWN Database, and press Enter.

n. Use the arrow and Enter keys to set the Drive 0 WWPN and LUN numbers as shown in the graphic below.
Press F10 to save the configuration, and enter y to confirm.

NOTE: On the system you are using you may see slightly different WWNs. For example,
20330002AC025DF2 and 21330002AC025DF2. This is a result of different port numbers
being used on the FC HBA.

NOTE: The first four digits of the WWPN represent:

• First digit: Always 2 for Primera and 3PAR arrays
• Second digit: Node number
• Third digit: PCIe slot number
• Fourth digit: Port number
The HPE Primera array you will be booting from has two nodes, each with its own WWPN.
You should have just set the first FC adapter to boot from the first node, via the FC HBA in
PCIe slot 3, using port 1 of the HBA (2031…).

NOTE: The graphic above shows that the Drive 0 is offline. This will change when you
have completed the steps below.

o. Return to the Device Manager screen, select the second HPE SN1100Q 16Gb 2p FC HBA, and press Enter.
Repeat steps l to n to configure the BfS settings for the second port, except this time, use the WWN for the
second Primera node, via the FC HBA in PCIe slot 3, using port 2 of the FC HBA (2132…).
p. Press Escape to return to the Boot Manager menu. Use the arrow keys to highlight Reset, and press Enter to
initiate the reset.
q. When the UEFI shell reappears, check the WWN database for both FC HBAs again, and you should see that
Drive 0 is online.

entity from a management perspective.
To explore logical interconnects, complete the following steps:
1. Navigate to the NETWORKING section and select Logical Interconnects from the menu.
2. You should see five logical interconnects. Why do you see five logical interconnects?
