CREATING A DOCUMENT Microsoft Word is a word processing
application that you can use to create and print document. You can type, edit and format a text, save the text to a file, and print your documents on your printer. TYPING TEXT When you are ready, just start typing. When you reach the end of the line, MS WORD automatically wraps your text to the beginning of the next line. To start a new paragraph, press ENTER. To leave a blank line between paragraphs, press ENTER twice. If you make a mistake, press BACKSPACE to erase the mistake. FORMATTING CHARACTERS To format an existing text in bold, italic or underline: Select the text you want to format. Choose the style you want to use from the character menu. The selected text changes to the format you choose. Choose the style you want to use from the CHARACTER MENU. Type your text. The text appears in the style that you choose. FORMATTING PARAGRAPHS The format of the paragraphs includes alignment, spacing and indention of the lines in the paragraph. A new paragraph starts with the same format as the previous paragraph. CHANGING THE INDENTION OF A PARAGRAPH You can indent an entire paragraph from the left or right margin, or you can indent just the first line of paragraph from the left margin
