Difference between Indian, British and American English

Indian English is very similar to British English because it is a

descendant of British English, which was the result of British
colonization. However, there are some cultural differences
between Indian speakers of English, such as the way North
and South Indians speak the language differently. This is
necessary knowledge in order to comprehend the differences
between Indian, British, and American English.

Features found in Indian English:-

1) Since Indian languages have more vowels than the five in
the English language—Hindi, for instance, has thirteen—our
pronunciation differs greatly from British and, by extension,
American English, which only has three vowels.
2) There are also recently created terms in Indian English,
such as cousin-brother and time-pass.
3) Hindi, English, and other languages are combined to
create Indian English.

Because American English only has three major vowels, it can

be thought of as a simplified form of British English, as the
table above illustrates. Americans also tend to use word
contradictions and abbreviations a lot, which results in a
simpler and more condensed language structure. The
distinctive evolutions of American English are reflected in
these variations in pronunciation and word choice, which set
it apart from other languages.
