General work procedures
1. Smoking, eating and drinking is prohibited in the application area and storage areas.
2. Wash hands before eating and drinking.
3. Take off all contaminated clothing immediately.
4. Use in a well ventilated area.
5. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes by using specified clothing.
6. Always spray away from the face and breathing zone.
7. Do not put on hot surfaces or naked flames/arc welds
8. To avoid ignition of vapours by static electricity discharge, all metal parts of the equipment must be
grounded.
9. Pressurized container: Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
10. If ventilation is not adequate, use respiratory protection equipment.
11. Warn others in the area to keep clear while in use.
12. For large quantities air fed masks or half masks to be used.
13. Dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous
fumes. Wet sanding/flatting should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the
provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used.

First aid treatment
Remove casualty from exposure ensuring one's own safety whilst doing so. Consult a
Inhalation doctor.

Wash out mouth with water.


Ingestion Do not induce vomiting. If conscious, give half a litre of water to drink immediately.
Consult a doctor.
Eye contact Bathe the eye with running water for 15 minutes. Consult a doctor.
Remove all contaminated clothes and footwear immediately unless stuck to skin.
Skin contact Drench the affected skin with running water for 10 minutes or longer if substance is
still on skin. Consult a doctor.
Storage, handling, spillage and disposal
Storage;
Store product externally.
Keep container tightly closed in a dry well ventilated place away from direct sunlight and other sources of
heat and ignition.
Vapours are heavier than air and may spread along floors.
Store in cool, well ventilated area. Storage temperature: Do not expose to temperatures
exceeding 50⁰C/122⁰F
Avoid- Strong Acids, Alkalis, Strong oxidisers
Larger quantities must be kept in a separate marked storeroom conforming to the structural
requirements for the "Storage of Flammable Liquids in containers".
The storage and use of this product is subject to the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres
Regulations (DSEAR).
Handling:
Avoid direct contact with the substance.
Avoid naked flames
Do not handle in a confined space.
Spillage:
Remove all possible sources of ignition in the surrounding area
Contain and collect spillage with non-combustible, absorbent material e.g. sand, earth, vermiculite or
diatomaceous earth and place in container for disposal as hazardous waste.
Preferably clean with a detergent. Avoid using solvents.
Contaminated material should be considered as hazardous and disposed of as hazardous waste.
Do not allow into drains or water courses or dispose of where ground or surface waters may be affected.
Disposal:
Wastes, including emptied containers are controlled wastes and should be disposed of in accordance
with hazardous waste regulations.

Fire precautions and action
Aerosol can container - keep away from direct heat sources.
In combustion emits toxic fumes, evacuate the area.
