Hello Friends,
A�er Learning the Strokes, we will learn how to render a Plain,
Uniform Patch. I know, it sounds simple. But, let me tell you is not as
easy as it seems! But, it can surely be learnt.
Before you begin with this one, the first thing you need to do is
prac�se the Tapered stroke thoroughly. It has to be perfect that each
�me to make a stroke it has to glide so easily, the ends need to be
light and the pressure has to be in the centre of the stroke. Once you
prac�se bringing the strokes closer to each other.

Let’s Get Started!
Step 1:
Take an ellip�cal scale and take a medium sized ellipse.
Step 2:
Now we will fill this ellipse with Tapered strokes using B Pencil. It is
okay if the strokes go out of the ellip�cal boundary.
Go from Le� to right.Make sure your Pencil is sharpened all the �me.
Invest �me into this and work in details. Make sure there is
uniformity and no white gaps. Do observe the prac�se sheets. it
generally takes a week or two to master this.

Fill the Patch using Tapered Stroke and fill white gaps using
Circular Strokes.
