Subject: Request for Transfer to Main Branch from Open University Program

Dear XXX

Thanks for taking the time to read out my letter. My name is Jan Linar Saavedra
from Polytechnic University of the Philippines within the Open University System
and I'd like to share with you my story and the main reason why i want to become a
software engineer. This is my story, my strong desire,

When I was a kid, i used to watch alot of cartoons and animes. It was basically my
driving force to do the things i found strenous and exhausting. Such as doing
household chores, assignments, errands and all those tiring stuff i viewed as a
kid. Everytime i watch anime i felt energized and refreshed. One of the many anime
I've watched, this particularly anime caught my attention due to its interesting
approach with VR or Virtual Reality. It's called, Sword Art Online. It's a game
where they can be anything they want. They're able to fly to the vast sky, fight
monsters, and get rewarded for their hardwork. That was my awakening. SAO awoken
something inside me. It opens my desire to play the game and do everything in my
dream. It allows me to think through. To fly.

The realization was rather late. And before i knew it, i was caught up with time.
The kid who watched anime every morning and afternoon had become a teen worrying
about his impending future. The teen got no time for kid stuff such as anime nor
playing game. For he was busy surviving throughout the years and future to come.
Soon after, i was enrolled.. in college. With a course I have no clue nor idea how
it works. I played the part, i continued my studies got cool remarks but felt
emptied and lost. I tried to love this path ahead of me but my heart differs. I,
for the first time, would like to decide the path I'm going to take.

And i am here, in your mail box, sitting and patiently waiting for the time that
you'll going to be reading this and in hopes that you will consider my humble
request to allow me to transfer to the Polytechnic University of the Philippines -
Sta. Mesa, Manila with my preferred course of Bachelor's of Science in Computer
Science where I can finally pursue my dream.
