In the town of Alegria, a lot of families are well-known for their status in life.

It is a
town filled with sophisticated, popular, classic, elegant, and different types of people.
Lilienne is one of the popular kids in town but not just because of her beauty, her
twin brother Yeshua, or the status of their family. She is popular because of her
attitude. She's not the typical probinsyana, she's a lioness. She likes to cut class,
drinks, and any stuff like that. Until she met Riguel, the town's popular boy. He's
popular for being handsome with brains and being the school's president. Lilienne
has this huge crush over him. She thought that she could also tame him just like she
did to other boys in town.

One afternoon while Lilienne and her friends are staying in their spot after cutting
their classes, the Supreme Student Government caught them. They were able to
escape but not all of them, including Lilienne. She was brought to the detention room
where her parents and twin brother were called. That's where everything started.
After meeting Riguel, Lilienne changed a lot for the better. She saw herself being
tamed by Riguel Jameson Alleje.

She stopped cutting her classes. She tried to aim for good grades. She did her best
to get the attention of Riguel Alleje. She even tried riding the same tricycle with
Riguel. However, it's always a failure. When she thought she had the chance one
night, there was no space left for her inside the tricycle. In the end, she had to wait
for another tricycle and ride alone. She felt bad for herself because she chose to not
ride their family car and tried to get Riguel's attention. A twist of event happened,
when she rode the next tricycle, Riguel rode too. He paid for 3, 1 for her and 2 for
him. He'll send her home first before going home. That's when everything between
them started.

The romance between them arose day by day even after Riguel graduates. They
treated each other what they both deserve. With pure love and intention. It was all
just genuine love, assurances, understanding, and all. Despite the busy schedules
they both have, especially Riguel because he's already in college, they still manage
to give each other enough time. Unfortunately, things started to go down. Yeshua,
Lilienne's twin brother, met with an accident before because of her. He saved
Lilienne from creeps and his head was hit. He ignored the pain and did not bother to
get help. He kept it a secret even if it's getting bad. Until he can no longer endure it
and it's slowly killing him. Everything inside Lilienne's head is out of control. She's
blaming herself for what happened to Yeshua. Her relationship with Riguel is not that
good either. Her parents are mad at her. Everything is just heavy for her. Too heavy
and it's slowly breaking her.

On her prom day, she gave Riguel something she thought Riguel is after and she left
him after that. She went to America with her family for Yeshua's treatment. She did
not bid goodbyes to anyone, even to her best friend. She left everything in the
Philippines and focused on her family.

It was hard to live a life without Riguel and Suki, her best friend. It was hard to live a
life, seeing his brother on a hospital bed with machines connected to him and seeing
her parents cry. It was hard to continue fighting and being strong because everyone
around her is weak. So she did. She faced a life without Riguel and Suki, she faced
her brother and parents, and she became strong for them.

But it was not enough. After months of fighting, Yeshua died. Then her mother
couldn't bear the pain of losing a child, so she committed suicide. So was her father.
Her father couldn't bear the pain of losing his wife after losing his son, so he also
followed them in the afterlife. They left Lilienne alone. She was left with unstable
mental health, weak body and soul, and not enough money to live again.

When she thought it was the end of her life, she was saved. She was saved by her
friend, Suki, who was unaware of what happened to her. She was also saved by
Nicholas, one of her friend's brothers who likes her. Above all, she was saved by
herself and her love for her family. So she picked herself up and continued to fight.
Then she decided to come back to the Philippines to bring back everything her family
lost because of the treatment that Yeshua needs. She wants to preserve the
memories that they have in Alegria.

She went back to Alegria, with full determination to bring back her family's home and
business. She ignored the possibility to see Riguel again and unfortunately on her
side, Riguel bought her family's home and business. She tried to negotiate with him
but what Riguel wants is not what she wants. In order for her to get her what she
wants, she needs to marry Riguel and that's not what she wants.

Riguel finished his law school, he was a bar topnotcher. He's a lawyer and according
to him, marrying him is an easy process to give Lilienne the properties she wants. So
she agreed. They got wed and everything. They live their lives as husband and wife.
Everything started to feel okay again. Lilienne began feeling that her love for him
was starting to be alive again. She did not stop loving him but she did not feel it after
everything she went through. At last, she saw herself falling for him and smiling
genuinely.

But Lilienne being herself, she pushed him away. She pushed him and he agreed.
He loves her so much that she will do what she says even if it hurts, even if it breaks
him. But because Lilienne loves him too, she threw her words away and begged him
to stay. She begged him to come back and he did.

He waited for her for 8 years. He wants Lilienne and nobody else. He was so proud
of Lilienne and he was so happy when she came back. That's why through a selfish
act, he negotiated with Lilienne. In exchange for her family's properties is his
surname after Lilienne's name. Little did she know, everything is under her name
already and he's just taking care of it.

After everything, they lived a happy life as one, as Mr. & Mrs. Alleje.

situation of Lilienne's family.

CLIMAX: Her family died one by one, she went back to the Philippines, and
got married to Riguel for the sake of her family's properties.

FALLING ACTION: Lilienne found herself falling for him again.

RESOLUTION: Everything between them was discussed properly after 8

years. They chose to stay together and be one.

SETTING AND ATMOSPHERE: It's in Alegria, a province in the Philippines, ans

America, where her family flew fpr Yeshua's treatment. The atmosphere of the story
is summer, calm, tranquil, sentimental, happy, cold, sad, alone, hopeful, and dark.

CONFLICT: man vs himself, Lilienne struggles to choose between her family or

Riguel. She wants to choose her family, of course, but what about Riguel? She know
she can tell him about her situation but she cannot push herself to do it.

THEME: Unconditional love, family, sacrifice, priorities, happiness, and breakdowns.

MORAL OF THE STORY: No matter how hard life is, no matter what you lose in the
process of your journey, you must carry on and keep moving forward. You may feel
it's the end of you, but it's just about to begin. Take a step, one at a time, and enjoy
it.
