JOHNSON FAMILY 2022 IN REVIEW

2022 was honestly filled with some ups and downs. I can’t say it was my favorite year, but also can’t
say it was the worst year in our 25-year story. We hope all our friends and family can look back in
review and see a lot of love and grace in your year as we have.
Kirina Lee (Larsen)
On January 13, our Kirina Lee (Rina) made it to adulthood! She is 21 (still blows my mind that we have an
adult child) and continues to reside in the Bear River area with her husband, Dylan. She has since taken a
job in Davis County and continues the Weber Nursing program. In August, she was pinned as an LPN!
2023 will be her RN year! We are so proud of her as her education gap closes. Whoever said nursing was an
easy field will never understand the tears and time that goes into becoming a nurse! Dylan continues in his
career close to home and together they love their pride and joy, Bella Donna, a very spoiled Siamese kitty
(or as Rina says, “her baby”).

Kysa Christine
Kysa Christine had a change of events and moved home on January 10th. She
continues to work at her long-time lifeguarding position and found joy in teaching
summer swim to several groups and individual swimmers. On September 14th, she
graduated from her teenage years and has gained much wisdom in this year and will continue to thrive as hard lessons are
learned. She has opened up her heart again to a boy named Tyler and will pursue some schooling opportunities and other
endeavors in Northern Idaho mid-2023. She has learned many things in 2022 and still loves all things cats and horses.
There are still many colors to Kysa’s beautiful, naturally blonde hair, but we wouldn’t want her any other
way.

Jordan Justice
Jordan Justice turned sweet 16 at the end of August on the 25th (and had better not been kissed except by his
mama ). He is a Sophomore at Rich High School. Jordan played football (8-man and 11-
man), made a difficult decision to switch from his beloved sport of basketball to try his skill
on the wrestling team, and will continue to golf in the spring. Go REBELS. Jordan has
proved this year he can put more effort into his schooling and has pulled all A’s in his 10th grade
year. Hopefully this trend continues!

Jared & Jennie

Jared and I were able to get away to Cancun in February for our 24th anniversary with built in
friends (Sorry Tyrel & Melissa…thanks for being willing to drop everything and fly to Mexico.
Cousins make amazing friends and it’s harder to tell you no when you beg them to come)! We often
rope family and friends into traveling with us. In October, we joined the Nelson’s and my mom and
niece in Orlando for a little Universal/beach get away. Good times for sure! I continue to work as
the Business Administrator/HR Director for the Rich School District and absolutely love the
challenges that it offers me. I can honestly say that there is never a dull moment in my accounting world! Thank you to all those who took time off
to travel with me to conferences just so I didn’t have to go alone (Mom, Kates, Kristi, Jared, my kiddos). Thanks St. George cousins for always
spending time with us when we invade during conferences! Jared continues to serve as a deputy with the Rich County Sheriff’s Department and
enjoys the job, most days. He is also an EMT and serves on the Search and Rescue.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

2022 was a year for the books. We are extremely grateful for the high points and good times. We are looking forward to see what 2023 brings!
We love you and are thinking of you in this Christmas season!

With Love,
The Jared Johnson Family
