Looking back on 2012

Life is busy, but consistent: Rodd - campus minister with His House & adjunct instructor at GVSU teaching computer science classes Jas - working parttime at ELS Language Centers as the IELTS test administrator Josh and Caleb full-time students Actively involved with our church family at Jenison Christian Church, serving with the music ministry. We love and enjoy our extended families. We look forward to times spent with them, though rare, especially in the case of Jas sister and her family in Singapore. Everyone is healthy, and were grateful for that.

Merry Christmas from the Lowells!

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good

His love endures forever........
Some highlights of 2012:
January - Jas turned the big 40 March - Rodd and Jas went on their annual His House Spring Break service trip to Ft. Myers, FL with GVSU students July - Josh became a teenager! August - Rodd and Jas were able to convert a work trip for Jas into a getaway in San Francisco. (Rodd got to visit Apple Inc. HQ, much to his delight!) September - Josh entered 8th grade and Caleb entered 5th grade November 4 - Caleb was baptized in the frigid waters of Lake Michigan! December - Rodd and Jas celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary Both boys play one sport per season: Spring - Lacrosse Summer - Video games (ok, maybe its not a sport - Roller hockey is what we play as a family in the summer) Fall - Soccer Winter - Hockey

Life is a blessing. We have so much to be thankful for. Our little problems are trivial compared to what others face. Pray that we may keep Gods perspective and priorities, to bring His light to the world.
