National Lutheran Schools Week 3.4-9. Check out the special schedule of our fun events for the week! Spring Break 3.12-16 No School Have a wonderful break! Wind Day & Kindergarten Dads Day 3.22 Your child can bring in a kite to fly and dads are welcome to come see what we do in Kindergarten! Wheel Day 3.30 Your child can bring in their bikes/scooters and safety gear to practice riding for Grand Tour! Grand Tour 3.31 from 10-3 at the Veloway! Chapel schedules be sure to check out the calendar for time and location of Chapels for this month.

RELIGION We continued our study on Jesus miracles! This week

we heard about Jesus healing 10 men, a blind man and Jairus daughter. Next week we will review Jesus miracles and hear about the Good Samaritan! We will also enjoy a special time of singing some praise songs! We are looking forward to having Ms Maloy teach us religion!

LANGUAGE This week we studied the letter R and practiced

writing sentences and words! We have been writing sentences in our journals, enjoying some special literature and practicing reading independently! A number of AR goals have also been met this week! Keep reading the quarter ends on the 9th. We will continue to practice these concepts and study letter J next week.

MATH This week we have been reviewing and practicing time and
money. Check out our calendar clipboard pages havent we been working hard?! We will continue working on these concepts next week as we enjoy some new activities!

DRESS UP DAYS FOR NLSW! M Sports Day; T Hilarious Hat & Silly Sock Day; W Rainbow (red) & ribbons Day; Th- Rock n Roll Day; F Twin/Triplet Day

SCIENCE Recycling, Rainbows and ROCKS! These are some of

the topics we investigated this week! Ask your child about one of these topics! We will continue to study rocks next week as well!

READ AROUND In honor of Dr. Seuss birthday we were able to

work with PK3-2nd grade friends and teachers and hear 3 special stories! We also enjoyed 3 special activities! Ask your child to tell you about the Dr. Seuss Read Around! It was so much fun!
