Week 3 is always such a nice week. The students

are in full swing, and the parents have been
brought up to speed due to Parent Night. So clear
sailing for the remaining 33 weeks! During week
3, the students sharpened their summarizing
skills by reading a short story called Thunder
Rose and their novel study books. In grammar,
we broke sentences in half by finding the subjects
and predicates. In writing, we wrapped up our
unit on paragraphs with writings on their future
jobs and important people in their lives. You can
