Week fifteen was an extra jolly week! The students got
to enjoy shopping at the Candy Cane Cottage which is
one of the best traditions at RHES. It is always
entertaining to watch the students buy things for their
parents. In math, the students continued their unit on
fractions. We have spent several days making
equivalent fractions with magnets, pizzas, and
Christmas presents. In social studies, we finished our
tour of South America, and we headed east to Europe.
In STEM Buddies, the students had to engineer
dominoes and popsicle sticks into a table that would
hold a classic Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner. To finish
the week, the students started the State Sumdog Game.
