It was another great week in room B124. In math, the
students finished up their measurement unit (time,
volume, and mass) and started up on graphs. In our
pictograph lesson, the students had to create a
Valentine’s Day question, poll their classmates, and
create a pictograph in Google Docs. In science, we
turned up the volume in our sound lesson by creating
our own pan flutes. The students also tested different
instruments’ pitches and volume in our instrument lab.
The Arcademics Math Cup started Thursday and
students took to the multiplication racetrack against
kids from around the country. To finish the week, we
took on a class from Florida in Mystery Skype!
