Definition of terms

In order to enhance comprehension of this study, the subsequent terms are provided
with their respective definitions:

Learner well-being - refers to the overall state of mental, emotional, and physical
health of students in an educational setting.

Academic performance - The level of achievement or success in academic subjects or


areas of study.

Action plan - a detailed plan outlining specific steps and strategies to be taken in order
to achieve a particular goal or objective.

Physical Aspect - pertains to the students' health and fitness, which can indirectly
affect their academic performance and overall well-being.

Emotional Aspect - relates to the students' feelings, emotions, and ability to manage
them effectively.

Social Aspect - relates to the students' interactions and connections with their peers,
teachers, and the broader school community.

Psychological Aspect - pertains to the students' cognitive and mental processes, such
as their ability to think critically, problem solve, and manage stress or anxiety.

Cognitive capabilities - refer to the mental abilities and processes of students,


including their thinking, memory, attention, and reasoning skills.
