SFF2023 VISUAL IDENTITY MOTIFS

These motifs are used to draw attention to important keywords. They are primarily
used to style the brand tagline and the website navigation panel.
SFF2023 VISUAL IDENTITY MOTIFS

The vertical bars - always standing tall, usher the viewer's gaze along the page, gently
guiding the narrative flow while serving as unobtrusive dividers. They create a
rhythmic visual harmony, dividing spaces, yet linking ideas. Their gradient hue, a
proud display of our brand colour, subtly fades into the background, creating an effect
that's both engaging and soothing.

Horizontal bars, on the other hand, gracefully stretch across the breadth of the page.
They are the structural support to our written word, underlining titles or segmenting
paragraphs. This horizontal element creates a grounding line, a visual rest stop in our
content journey, while their gradient manifestation echoes the brand's identity in a
harmonious whisper.
SFF2023 VISUAL IDENTITY MOTIFS

To keep our kaleidoscope essence while ensuring an uncluttered, readable design, we


have distilled its complexity into two simplified motifs: the Diamond Stroke and the
Circle Stroke.

The Diamond Stroke motif captures the dynamic intersectionality of a kaleidoscope's


facets, with repeating patterns of diamond strokes. This geometric symphony lends an
architectural framework, structuring and organizing the content without
compromising the creativity that's at the heart of our brand.

The Circle Stroke motif, meanwhile, encapsulates the kaleidoscope's transformative


magic. Using a pattern of repeating circle strokes, it provides a sense of movement
and fluidity, injecting vibrancy into the page. Its gentle round forms create a
harmonious balance with the text-heavy designs, offering visual delight without
overwhelming the message.
