Key & Figs Create a sigil from any word. It could be an intention, a power word, your name, or anything else. Place a piece of paper over the rose-cross template below. Then connect each letter of the word from one box to the next. This is the sigil creator used by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, originally in Hebrew. It is called the Key of Sigils and of Rituals. Translating from your native language to Hebrew is not required for these sigils to work. It is said that it represents the Forces of the 22 Letters in Nature, as divided into a Three, a Seven, and a Twelve. The inner Three Petals of the Rose symbolize the active Elements of Air, Fire, and Water, operating in the Earth, which is as it were the recipient of them, their container and ground of action. The seven next Petals answer to the Letters of the Seven Planets, and the Twelve Outer to the Twelve Signs of the Zodiac.
