Program. The updates announced at Accelerate 2023 are more strongly aligned with Fortinet's Security Fabric,
Engage Partner Program Business Models as well as Specializations. The new program builds upon Fortinet's
committment to driving technical expertise with our partners and better enables you to build and grow your
cybersecurity practice.
The new NSE Certification is an opportunity for you to:

Transition to new NSE Program

Automatic Conversion
The new program reuses some of the existing training. If your certification is part of the chart below and valid on
October 1st, it will convert automatically to the updated Program on this date.

To help with Account compliance during the transition, an Equivalence

program is available.
Engage Equivalence designations were created to ensure that any NSE certifications or exams that count toward
compliance today will count toward compliance after October 1, 2023. These designations will help partner companies
transition to the 2023 Engage Program compliance requirements, which are based on the updated NSE Certifications
program, and launches on October 1st, 2023.

designations are not certifications.
To understand how your current certifications will translate after the October 1st launch, visit the NSE knowledgebase
article on the transition (http://helpdesk.training.fortinet.com/en/support/solutions/folders/73000565891).

If an individual holds a valid exam at the time of transition, an Equivalence designation will be granted will count
toward company compliance to the Engage 2023 program. Once the requirements for the full certification is met, the
Equivalence designation will expire.

Benefit from our Re-certification Program, allowing you to automatically recertify lower certifications.
Eligible NSE Certifications
- Achieving or renewing the FCX renews all certifications
- Passing a FCSS exam in one track renews FCP in the same track, as well as FCA, and FCF
- Passing any FCP exam renews FCA and FCF
- Passing the FCA exam renews FCF
