I’m a business major. I like my business classes. I’m also taking a math class, but
I’m not getting good grades now. I rarely study. I don’t like numbers very much.
I’m studying art. I love drawing and painting. I usually paint in my studio, but
sometimes I paint outside. I like playing the piano too, so next term I’m taking a
music class.
I’m good at foreign languages. My favorite subject is English, and I’m also
studying Spanish and French. I’m an international studies major.
I’m in high school, so I don’t have a major. My father is a doctor and I think
that’s interesting. I also enjoy playing baseball all the time, so I’m thinking about
studying sports medicine.
I play video games all the time – every morning, every evening, and every
weekend! I enjoy designing video games too. I’m a computer science major, of
course!

I envy my friend Sam. He’s travelled to many foreign countries. Last year, he
flew to Australia. He saw kangaroos, and he held a koala. He went to the beach and
went surfing. I’ve never been to a foreign country. I’ve never flown in an airplane.
I’ve seen kangaroos and koalas, but I saw them in a zoo. I’ve been to the beach, but
I’ve never gone surfing. Sam has had more interesting experiences than I have.

My friend Amy and I had many similar experiences. We both lived in this town
all our lives. We went to the same elementary school and middle school, and now
we’re in the same high school. Amy and I have studied musical instruments for
several years. She plays the piano and I play the violin. Amy travelled to Kaohsiung,
and I visited Hong Kong. We haven’t been to Europe or South America, but we both
want to go. We are different people, but we have had similar lives so far.
