S.R.O. -----/(I)2015. In exercise of the power conferred by Section 47 read with Section 12 of the
Regulation of Generation, Transmission and Distribution of Electric Power Act, 1997 (XL of
1997),the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority, hereby notifies the following
Regulations to prescribe and streamline the powers and procedures in financial matters:
PART – I
1. Title and Commencement.–(1) These regulations may be called the National Electric
Power Regulatory Authority(Financial Powers) Regulations, 2015.
(3) Interpretation- Any question relating to the interpretation of these regulations shall be
decided by the Authority.
3. Financial Powers:- (1) All financial matters except those expressly mentioned in the
Annexure – I to these regulations, shall be decided at duly constituted meetings of the
Authority.

4. The NEPRA Financial Power Regulations, 2001 are hereby repealed.
