Description
Hysol E-A.9359.3 is two-component sttr¡ctu¡al adhesive r¡¡hich exhibis high peel and high teosile lap shear
sEength' It contains 5 mil/0,13 mm glass beads for bondline thickness conbol. This adhesive has excellent
resistance to water, salt spray arid most organic fluids. A variety of substrates such as metals, üetmoplasdcs
and composites may be bonded using Hysol EA 9359.3. Hysol EA 9359.3 is offered in a tu,o:one cartidge
with static mixer.

AND USE
Prepar¿tion BARE FIBERGLASS: Degrcase by wiping w¡th a rag soaked ¡n Fiberglcs Solvent liy'Gh 202 or
Fiberglass Surface Prep YMA60'1. Thoroughly sand using 8G120 gfit paper \rMpe with
Fiberalass Solvent Wsh 202. Surface must be clean and dry pdor to appl¡calion of Epiglass
HT9OOO. New lamlnabs must be et least one month old before appl¡cation of Ep¡glass HT9000.
New lam¡nates should also bB c,leaned first with Fiberglass Solvent Wash 202 to remove mold
release agents, s¡l¡cones and greas¿.
WOOD: Moisture content oflhe wood should be below 12%. For higher mo¡sture conEnt the
ümber must be allowed to dry prior to eppl¡calion of Etigl§ Hf9000. Thoroughly sand u§ng
80-120 grit papcr. Sand acrcs the gra¡n wiih 4G60 grade paper for good adhe§ion when
glu¡ng. vvpe with Fiberglass Solvent Wash 202. Epory resin should not be used for stuctural
workÚitr o¡ly ümbers. For smaller rspairs on oily wood, sand as per above recommendation
and degrease with F¡berglass Solvent \¡/6h 202. Allow solvent to €vapoEte.
METAL: To en§.¡rc a good physicd 'key on the surface, remov. all surface contam¡nanb by
abrading, g,it blst¡ng or ginding to expose bright metal. \n pe with Fiberglass Solvent W6h
202. Appythe 6poxy re§n as soon as possible after surface has been prepared, to prevent de-
oxidisation. For Alum¡n¡ur/Bronze/Lead, better adhes¡on w¡ll be acfiieved by sanding the res¡n
mix into üe surfEce using wet or dry paper- Hatd anodised alum¡nium alloy mus't be removed-
