HI Learners,

Hope you are doing great!

Now we are moving towards the Midterm-2 exam.

It is important for you as learners to understand the exam process.

★ Exam Name: Midterm-2

★ Exam Date: 5th November 2023 Sunday | Duration: 2 hrs
★ Exam Mode : Do-Select Platform

A. Eligibility Criteria for Midterm-2 :

Eligibility Criteria: Following modules should be completed 80% or more

● Google Sheets 1, Google Sheets 2, Google Sheets 3, Google Sheets 4, Google Sheets
Project 1
● Stats 1, Stats 2
● SQL 1, SQL 2, SQL 3, SQL 4, SQL 5, SQL Module End Project 1

Last date to complete all modules to become eligible: 1st November 2023 before 11:59:59
PM IST, Wednesday

Please note that the eligibility list will be shared twice for your convenience. The first list will
be released on Monday, one week before the exam date. This list will include learners who
are already eligible by that time, providing confirmation of their eligibility status.

If any learners are initially deemed ineligible, they have until Wednesday to meet the
requirements and become eligible. Their names will then be added to the final eligibility list,
which will be published on Friday, two days before the exam date.

Note: If you complete your modules after the mentioned deadline, you will be eligible for a
Midterm-2 reattempt. However, please be informed that no requests will be considered
after the last date (Wednesday) to appear for the first attempt.

Final eligible list will be shared on: Friday |3rd November 2023 | before 10 PM IST

The above link will give you a brief introduction to the do-select platform which will be your
exam platform for MidTerm -2 Exam.

D. Passing Criteria for Midterm-2 :

Exam Passing Criteria: learners must score at least 70% to pass the exam.

E. Results of Midterm-2:

Results will be shared over email within 3-5 days of exam date.

1. How to check my eligibility:

You can check your progress in LMS, under the progress tab.
The average score of each module should be a minimum 80 % or more.

Example 1-
In google sheets module 2: There are 4 parts:
Let's say following are the scores achieved,
Part 1: 85%
Part 2: 95%
Part 3: 80%
Part 4: 100%

The average score of Google sheet module 2 is => (85+95+80+100)/4 =>360/4 =>90%

Conclusion : Learner is eligible, as the Overall completion score is more than 80 %

Example 2-
Part 1: 80%
Part 2: 70%
 Part 3: 70%
Part 4: 75%

The average score of Google sheet module 2 is => (80+70+70+75)/4 =>295/4 =>73.7%

Conclusion : Learner is Ineligible, as the Overall completion score is less than 80 %

This is how the average score for any module is calculated. If there is any part in the
module which does not have any possible score, it will not be included for calculating the
average.

2. What if I am Ineligible for Midterm-2:

If you are not eligible then you will have all attempts(3) left, after completing the above
mentioned modules you can appear in the reattempt 1 exam or raise a request to the
support team.

3. What if I fail in Midterm-2:

If you fail in the 1st attempt, you will be left with 2 attempts where you can appear in the
reattempt 1 exam or raise a request to the support team.

4. How many attempts do I have:

Every learner will get a total 3 attempts to clear their exam, the first 2 attempts are
back-to-back[Sunday-Saturday]. The third attempt takes place a few weeks later, and a
schedule will be shared for the same. You can also raise a request for a third attempt to
the support team.Reappearing might cause some delays in their results. So kindly be
considerate about it.
