All 2008 batch students who have paid their 1st installment fee before 31st July 08, can
create their STUDENT LOGIN by 16th August 08.
Once you create your student login and get the access to STUDENT CENTRE, you can
go ahead with submitting 1st semester online assignments.
Kindly refer Pg.no. 44 45 46 47 in Welcome Kit (Blue color thin booklet) for
additional details. You may also use the following process steps to create a student
login.
5.Click on Proceed.
Registration Form Window opens in which you can create your unique Login Id by
entering user name and Password. (Login id and password are of student’s choice
and should be remembered by student till the completion of course.)
PID : In rare cases , it appears under Login ID and Password details . Please note
that it is Personal ID No. or Registration Number. Revert to SCDL for further info.
Once you have created your own STUDENT LOGIN , you are required to go to
Existing Student Login which appears in the Right Hand side of Home Page at our
website www.scdl.net
Now you have access to submit online assignments for 1st semester.
Periodically semester wise your subjects will be uploaded and assignments will be
released in future.
Once again please note that Assignments are to be submitted ONLINE only.
Kindly note that 2008 batch students can submit their Online assignments of ANY
SUBJECT - ANY TIME within the course validity period i.e. till July 2012.
# The course duration for 2008 Post graduate diploma in business administration
(2 years Program) is till July 2010.
# The course duration for 2008 Post graduate diploma in business administration
(One years Program) is till July 2009.
However the validity period for 1 year program is till July 2010.
1. For each subject student needs to submit two assignments (Part-1 and Part- II )
6. The highest score out of two attempts will be considered as the final score.
7. Third attempt will be given for those student who have failed even after availing
two attempts. For this , processing fee as Rs 100/- per subject is charged which can
be sent across via Demand Draft ( drawn in favor of " Director SCDL " payable at
Pune). Student needs to mention his/ her registration no. & subject name on the
reverse of the DD and can forward the same to SCDL along with a covering letter or
service request form which is available on website www.scdl.net
8.If the student is not able to clear 1st Semester assignments within 6month duration
he/she can attempt again anytime within the validity period provided there free/
paid assignment attempts are still remaining and clear the pending assignments.
This applies to 2nd 3rd & 4th semester assignments also after they have been released
in appropriate semesters.
Please note that those students who have not been able to clear the assignment of
any subject even after the release of 3rd paid attempts ,-- no further paid/ unpaid
attempts will be released to clear any subject assignment.
9..In order to clear the assignments I & II, thorough reading of the book is a must.
For Assignment I & Assignment II the entire book should be referred.
10.. Assignments can be attempted any day anytime within validity period and can
be given while referring to open books.
Please note that you read the required technical configuration for your PC/ Laptop
and network before you start your assignments, it has been included in the welcome
kit for you[pg. 43 & 44]. Due to technical problems such as power failure scdl server
down assessment engine down error you may face the problem of incomplete
assignment. For any other technical errors that may occur due to students network
connectivity machine connectivity etc will not be considered as SCDL responsibility.
Sometimes students just make a hasty unprepared attempt where actually NOT
ANY Question is answered .This is explained with example as under :

It is always recommended that student should store /save the screenshot of the
technical error occurred at the time of submission of assignment and forward that
to SCDL.
Student can re login and can complete the balance/ remaining question of said
incomplete assignment.
Students must submit & pass in all online assignments on or before the last date of their
validity period. Same applies to online Exams also.
70% of the Examination marks and 30% of the Assignment marks will go towards the
final grades of diploma Certificate.

2. You may use a PC or a laptop with the required configuration and internet speed
of 256kpbs. Please find the machine configuration details in your welcome kit
Do not use roaming wireless data cards for internet access towards the purpose of
assignments or eLearning viewing etc.
3.While attempting an assignment, please make sure that your popup blocker is
disabled you can disable it by right clicking on the popup blocker and choosing the
disable option.
4.You also need to have a Flash Media Player of 8.0 Version or more.
