TO WHOME IT MAY CONCERN

I hope this letter finds you in good health. We would like to take this opportunity to provide
you with an update on the recent measures we have taken to ensure the safety and stability
of the borehole at PRL.

As you are aware, our project site presented challenges due to the presence of liquefiable
soils. To address this concern and maintain the highest safety standards, we have installed a
reinforced concrete slab at the site. It is essential to clarify that the primary purpose of this
slab is to prevent punching shear and ensure the stability of the drilling rig.

We want to emphasize that the concrete slab has been carefully engineered and
constructed to bear any loads associated with the drilling rig's operation. However, it is
crucial to note that the drilling rig does not exert any considerable additional load that
would compromise the structural integrity of the slab. It is designed to distribute the rig's
weight evenly, ensuring the safety of the entire operation.

We would like to assure you that all necessary precautions have been taken during the
design and construction of the reinforced concrete slab. Our team of experienced engineers
and construction professionals followed industry best practices and adhered to safety
guidelines to provide a secure environment for the drilling operation.

Thank you for your trust in our services, and we look forward to the successful completion
of this project.

Sincerely,
Fahim Ullah

TO WHOME IT MAY CONCERN

I trust this letter finds you well. We are writing to provide you with an important update
concerning the concrete slab at your project site, particularly in light of the unique
geological challenges posed by collapsible/liquefiable soils during well drilling.

To address these challenges, we developed a concrete mix design with a target strength of
3000 PSI, tailored to ensure the stability of the installation. During the installation process,
we encountered a stress load of 0.6 to 0.8 tsf (equivalent to 9.0 PSI to 12.4 PSI) from the
drilling rig. We anticipate that a substantial portion of this load will be effectively distributed
between a wooden pad and the concrete slab, with minimal stress transferred to the
underlying soils. Consequently, we do not expect any uneven settlement issues to arise.

To further bolster the load-bearing capacity of the concrete slab, we introduced single
reinforcement at the bottom. Additionally, we extended the curing period to 7 days. This
extended curing period aligns with industry standards, where concrete typically achieves
approximately 60% of its design strength within this timeframe. In our case, this equates to
1800 PSI.

As a quality assurance measure, we will be conducting core sampling and testing of the
concrete to ensure the slab's actual strength aligns with the design specifications.

Sincerely,
Fahim Ullah
