1. How do you express your religiosity and spirituality?

Religiosity, or being religious, refers to believing in our beliefs, practices, rituals, and symbols
that increase an individual’s connection to the sacred or transcendent. Religiosity is also defined as an
organized group of people who share a common belief system. I can express my religiosity in the way
of going to church every Sunday with my family, praying before and after meals, praying before and
after sleep, and also thanking God every single day of my life. Also, I can express my religiosity
through listening to religious songs that make me feel alive and by watching movies like "The Bible"
that are played on Holy Week. It is a process that begins with repentance and ends with faith.
Spirituality, on the other hand, entails going beyond oneself in a transcendent way and living in a way
that benefits society. Spirituality defines finding your purpose in life but not in beliefs and also in
your own way. It can also be related to God. I can express myself as spirituality in a way of believing
and doing what’s right for me because I know that doing something or believing in the right thing to
do is my choice and it has a responsibility to take. Also, I express my spirituality through talking to
others because I believe that talking or listening to other people's experiences and making them feel
meaningful to you might help you decide what spirituality means for you. I can also express myself as
spirituality in the way of keeping on going, because some people might tell you to forget it, and that
it’s a waste of time. But if you really believe there is something worthwhile in exploring your
spirituality, then go for it! If you haven’t found what you’re looking for, keep searching! Spirituality
is a lifelong journey!
