1.Prescriptive grammar or traditional grammar.

It’s purpose is to give strict rules of writing and speaking correctly.

It gives us rules of good or propper usage, which dictate what is good grammar and what is bad grammar.

2.Descriptive grammar is a system of approach ro language units at the present stage of development.

It describes how language is used by its speakers.

3.Comunicative grammar.

it gives students the oopurtunity to practice the target grammar item through specific communicative
tasks and activities.

4.Historical grammar studies the development of various grammatical units in diachrony.

5.Historical-comparative grammar studies the pecularities of simmilar structures of different languages

within the framework of historical development.

6.Theoritical Grammar.

it’s aim is to present a description of it’s grammatical system, to scientifically analyze and define it’s
grammatical categories and study the mechanisms of grammatical formation on utterances out of words in
the process of speech making.
