To:

Pursuant to the provisions of RA 10121 also known as the “Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction
and Management Act of 2010” created the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council
to serve as the policy making body, and to design programs, projects and activities for disaster risk
reduction and management consistent with the National Council’s standards and guidelines.

The law also mandates in Section 9, Paragraph (n) to Establish operating facility to be known as
the Disaster Operations Center (DOC) that shall be operated and staffed on a twenty-four (24) hour
basis.

In line with this, you are hereby directed to report on your assigned schedule on twenty-four
(24) hour basis in the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) or as
needed on emergencies and on-call services 24/7 effective August 1, 2023 until the end of the current
year.
