What is an administration..?
The word “administration” as the Latin root minister suggests means
service. The main objective of administration is to secure for an individual or
society or the nation such environment which may be lead to their fullest
growth and development. A person legally vested with the right of
administration of an estate is called administrator.
Educational Administration is regarded as the process of integrating the
appropriate human and material resources that are made available and
made effective for achieving the purposes of a program of an educational
institution. The term “Administration” doesn't refer to any single process
or act.
What is role…?
A character or part played by a performer. It is the expected behavior of
an individual in a society. Role is the function or duty of something. As an
educational administrator the role is to ensures a safe and productive learning
environment for the students and faculty at their institution. Budgets, logistics,
schedules, disciplinary actions, evaluations, and public relations fall under the
purview of educational administrators.
An Administrator provides office support to either an individual or
team and is vital for the smooth-running of a business. Their duties
may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors,
word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and filing.
What is responsibility…?
The first and main responsibility is to hire and supervise teachers and
fellow administrators, create and manage budgets, direct educational
programming, design curriculum, and oversee record keeping.
Administrators are responsible for providing administrative support
for an office or department within a school. They play a crucial role in
the day-to-day life of a school by providing a wide range of
administrative support to keep everything running as smoothly as
possible.
