1. What will be the objective of your study? Or what is the main goal of
your study.
2. What will be the subject matter, topics and issues you are going to
have for your study?
3. Where will you go to obtain necessary data for your study? And how
are you going to do it?
4. How many respondents are you going to have for your study? And
where can you find them?
5.
6. How long would it take to finish the study? Would it be long term or
short-term study?
Note: In this part, you will mention the imperfection of your project. Tell your
reader about the limits of your device like the materials it is made of, what it
can or can’t do. Mention the extent of its function and the limit of your observation
based on the tools you used if applicable.

Research Title:
Conductivity protocol for zinc (II) sulfate and lead (II) nitrate biosorption of M.
oleifera leaf biomass.
Scope and Delimitation
The instrument used for determining the conductivity of the solution was a
NeuLog™ conductivity logger sensor. Standard solutions, pH meter and pH
paper were used in adjusting the pH of the test solutions. This research focused on
the protocol only. Since this is only a qualitative determination of adsorption
of ions, no conclusions on the amount of heavy metal ions adsorbed were made
since this can only be measured using atomic absorption spectroscopy. What was
concluded is only ionic adsorption and that includes both cations (metals lead and
zinc) and polyatomic anions (nitrates and sulfates). The heavy metals measured
were zinc and lead only. This is a study only on adsorption, which does not require
energy, not absorption, because the material used is non-living, that is, dried
malunggay biomass. Absorption happens only in living organisms because it
requires active cellular transport. Linear, Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption
isotherms mentioned in other researches were not applied in determining
equilibrium adsorption data.4
