1. BATCH REPRESENTATIVE FOR COLLEGE CULTURAL

EVENTS
a. Role- It was basically a position of responsibility.
Representing the entire batch during the cultural events,
forwarding names of participants to the organizers,
intimation of important information to the batchmates such
as timings, making sure the participants are ready before the
event and similar activities on these line.
b. Chosen how? Based on Mutual consensus
c. What all cultural events did you take part in? I would
usually be doing the comparing or the master of ceremony
for the formal events. However I took part in certain areas
like poetry competetion.
2. TEAM LEADER OF COLLEGE ATHLETICS TEAM
a. Role- Representative of the team at the university level.
b. Chosen how? We were a team of 8 players and I was having
the most experience since I was running since first year, and
I was also involved in another sport of basketball. Since our
lot was small, most decisions were based on mutual
consensus.
c. Why only relay? I believe I am better at team events, because
I like working with people and I believe that I might have
the ability to coordinate with people better and work
together. It also gives me more impetus to perform better
when I am performing not for my individual sake but for the
sake of the entire team.
d. When you are working as a team, you are like a family. And
in a family, everyone has different roles. And the challenge is
carrying out the role assigned to you while also upholding
the common goal of the entire team. For example in
basketball, every player has a different position and role, and
that needs to be decided strategically. So coordination is very
important. And I think communication plays a very big role
here.
