SPACE

FACTS
Start of the satellites:
During the early 50's there was no artificial satellite
orbiting the planet. Even its slight possibility was
only based on theories, although it was still a very
attractive topic for government entities.

Living beings and their arrival in space:

After having sent the first satellite, the USSR now had
another goal, to get living beings into space. In this case, the
biggest fear was the effect that microgravity and launch
could have on a person. Sputnik 2 was launched into space
with a dog, which would be the only living being capable of
reaching orbit.

The arrival to the Moon:

One of the space events that required hard work was sending
man to the Moon. For this reason, before achieving this, various
missions were implemented to try to bring a person closer to
the satellite little by little. The idea was to verify if the trip was
viable for human beings and if the planet had a good sky to
land there.
