1. Identify the types of hazards that effect the Philippines and your community.
- Philippines has natural hazards, including typhoons, flooding, landslides, earthquakes
and volcanic eruptions, often causes large-scale damage and puts a heavy strain on
local resources.

2. Describe the vulnerability of your community and schools to various of hazard.

- After massive increase of infections in my community from Covid-19, we were forced to
quarantine and the government is scrambling for order as we cannot get out and buy our
necessary needs, anxiety raised as most neighbors are shouting and causing minor riots
as the authorities still hasn't sent relief packs.

3. Explain the importance of hazard and vulnerability analysis in reducing the disasters risk
of your school and community.
- By including vulnerability in our understanding of disaster risk, we acknowledge the fact
that disaster risk not only depends on the severity of hazard or the number of people or
assets exposed, but that it is also a reflection of the susceptibility of people and
economic assets to suffer loss and damage. Levels of vulnerability (and exposure) help
to explain why some non-extreme hazards can lead to extreme impacts and disasters,
while some extreme events do not. In the context of extensive risk in particular, it is often
people’s vulnerability that is the greatest factor in determining their risk.
