Scene 1: Kitchen

Narrator: It was 6 AM in the morning, the mom was cooking breakfast for the
family, while the dad was patiently reading his newspaper.
Mom: Wake up Trang for me, I’m busy cooking.
Dad: I’m also reading the newspaper. Don’t you see?
Narrator: The mom scolds her husband as usual for a while before waking up
their son by herself.

Scene 2: Bedroom
Mom: WAKE UP!!! It’s 7 AM and you’re late for school.
Son: WHATTTTTTT! Why didn't you wake me up earlier?
Narrator: Trang looked at the clock and shouted
Son: MOM, STOP LYING! It’s still 6 AM! Let me sleep!
Mom: THE CLOCK’S BROKEN! YOU ONLY HAVE 10 MINUTES TO SPARE!
Son: UGH WHY ARE YOU SO–!
Narrator: The dad comes in.
Dad: Can you two please keep it down, I’m watching the news.
Narrator:
The mom and son continue to argue while the dad stands in silence, in the end,
Trang gets up and packs for school.

Scene 3: Kitchen
Narrator: After packing for school, Trang heads to the kitchen to eat HIS
breakfast. HE looks up at the kitchen clock and shouts.
Son: WOW, TWO BROKEN CLOCKS!?
Mom: YES!
Narrator: The mom glared at the dad as if she was expecting him to back her up.
Dad: Um, don’t argue with your mom, son. Your mom’s always right.
Mom: Thank you!!!
Dad: -well, most of the time
Mom: Most of the time!?
Narrator: The family continues to argue with one another. Suddenly, Trang looks
up to see that the clock is now 7 Am.
Son: Great, now I’m really late for school!
Narrator: And he hurried out the front door.
