An example of an objective test is a multiple-choice test where there is only one correct answer for each question. This type of test provides clear and unambiguous results and yes, that really makes it easy to assess a trainee’s knowledge. 10. Describe a pre-test post-test evaluation. A pre-test post-test evaluation means to administer the same test to trainees before the training (pre-test) and after the training (post-test). So, when you compare the results, you can objectively measure the effectiveness of the training because of the fact that positive differences in post-test scores really show improvement in trainees’ knowledge and skills.
