MICROCOMPUTER CONTROLLER FOR DRY TRANSFORMER USER’S MANUAL (BWD3K130 SERIES) JiangXi Hua Da Electronics& Computer Co. ,Ltd Please read this manual carefully before any operations Warning! ‘This instrument is used for contrelling power transformer and witha high voltage. The enous injury or even death might happen without strictly following the operations specified by the manual, Only qualified technicians ae allowed to operate the instrument and read this manual carefully before any operations. 1. The input power: 220VAC(-t 10%), $0~6oHz 2. Make sure all the electrical connections are save end secured 3. Once on power, never contact the naked parts 4. The following parts with dangerous voltages | = The power terminals 2, 3; ~The Fan output terminals 12 and 14 can never be shortcut; Disconnect the instrument before high voltage testing the transformer Note: 1, Read the manual carefully before operations 2 The instrument can only be used forthe specified purpose by our company. Any parts replacement without the company’s permission could lead to the system failure: 3. There should be no SOzand HyS or other corrosive gases in the working environment to ensure the relay contacts work well; 4. To make sure thatthe system installation is complete before switch on, 5. The sensors should never be tested with lighter about 800°C). § Don’t apply to the relay’s contacs higher voltages than their ratings 7. Pat this manual in the place of easy access. 8. This manual if further revision and change without notice °- When the actual product isthe custom special models, ifthe specification content is confit tothe manual content, "7. special models attached” shall prevail ‘The instrument is a high precision device and it should be handled with care, If {here are any problems happened, contact with our company (the service telephone htumber is on the baek cover ofthis manual) and we will send our service personnel, ‘Thank you for cooperation and using our products. Any kindly suggestions and ‘comments are most appreciated. SO ET ne 1. According to the preset temp. to control fan’s switch so that to ensure dry transformer works well in normal temp. When any one of the three coil’s temp. is over preset value, the cooling fan will work and the “fan” LED on the panel will be on. Over temp. Alarm function. When one coil’s temp. is exceeded, it will output an alarm signal and the Over Temp. LED on the control panel will be on. At the same time, “Alarm”output terminals of rear panel will send signals to the remote control unit. 4. Auto-Power-Cut function. When the highest coil temp. is over the preset limit, it will send an alarm signal, the Cut Power LED on the panel will be on, At the same time, “Power cut” output terminals of rear panel will send signals to cutoff the power in order to protect the transformer. ‘The fault LED and alarm beep will be on if any one of the three sensors has malfunctioned. Fault signals will be sent out from the rear panel. In the temperature display area, H means disconnect and L means short cut. If one or two sensors is fault, the fan will be only controlled by the remnant sensors. IFall ofthe three sensors go wrong, the fans will be on immediately. 6. The transformer door state monitoring function: When the " Door" terminals are shorted, the alarm beep will be on, the terminals can be connected with the travel switch on the transformer protective door. 7. The fan on & off temp., over temp. alarm, power cut temp., timer of fan on & off, the communication address code and BPS can all be set by panel keys. They will be never lost afier power is cut off. 8. The fan can be on & off through human intervention. This function can also be used to test the fans. °- There is @ timer to control the fan on and off, which can be set through panel keys. The range of timer is from 0 to 255 hours (if 0 is set, this function is canceled). When the preset time is up, the fans will be on for two minutes and then stop. 10. The instrument is equipped with a “black box” which keeps the temp. of power off in memory for future inquiry. The recorded data will not be changed if the power off temp. is below 80°C. 11. Manual simulation function: The function can manual inspect the controller. 12. The highest temperature record function; The controller can record the highest temperature ofthe each phase, the value can be query by touch key. the phase display 13. Temperature correction function: User can manually modi ‘temperature, 5. Power cutoff terminals (485): These two are NO(NORMAL OPEN) in normal state and when the power cutoff is needed they will be activated, thus sending a switch signal to cutoff power. Alarm terminals (6&7): These two are NO(NORMAL OPEN) in normal state and when the alarm is needed they will be activated, thus sending a switch signal to the remote control unit, 4. Fault outputs (8&9): These two are NO(NORMAL OPEN) in normal state and when the sensors Fault or Door-Open alarming travel switch closed they will be activated, thus sending a switch signal to the remote alarming unit ( there are no fault outputs for controller of three phase fun ). The 7" pin (black) in the nine pin socket (DB9) is the negative terminal and the 6" pin (red) is the positive one. The RTU communication format is compatible with MODBUS protocol. An additional CD is available. 6.3 Analog communication 3K130B controller has a 4-20mA communication interface. The 2" pin (white) in the nine pin socket (DB9) is the common terminal and the 4" pin (A yellow), 5" pin (B brown) and 9" pin (C red) are the three current outputs. 4-20mA analog currents correspond to the temperature 0° C-200° C. 7. The specific Models . Mechanical Installation Refer to the following diagrams: To make # supporting frame with 2 1.Smm thick iron plane, drill a rectangular hole of 154mm 77mm in the middle, and put the instrument into this hole. It will automatically be fixed by the four plastic blockers on the instrument case. The 8mm holes are used for fixing the controller ‘onto the dry transformer.
