Cut List
Top frame
:

QTY 2 5 ½” by 1 ½ inch thick x 72” long boards (cut 45 degree angle for each)

QTY 2 5 ½” by 1 ½ inch thick x 48” long boards (cut 45 degree angle for each)

Sides
:
QTY 8 5 ½” by 1 ½ inch thick x 64 1/2” long boards
QTY 8 5 ½” by 1 ½ inch thick x 37 1/2” long boards

QTY 8 3 ½” by 3 ½ inch x 22” long boards

Step 1
Use a miter saw or circular saw to cut the side boards to length. The long side will have 4
boards that are 64 ½” long. The shorter side will have 4 boards that are 37 ½” long. Attach
the 3 ½ inch by 3 ½ inch posts to connect the 4 boards together. Use 3 inch long wood
screws from inside. (The screws will not show on the outside when complete.) For more
information please check out the post and video tutorial at

Step 2
Build the ends for the raised garden bed. These are built similar to how the longer sides are
built, but you’ll only use one post for the ends. Use 3 inch screws.

Step 5
Attach the top frame. It will overlap the posts on the outside, and the boards on the inside
by ¼ of an inch. Center it as best as possible and then attach the frame to the box from the
top side using 3 inch screws.

Step 6
Line the inside and floor of the raised garden bed with weed mat/liner. This will prevent
unwanted weeds from growing into the bed from the existing soil.

Step 7
Fill the raised bed with soil. This size bed will take approximately a yard of soil. I’d
recommend contacting a local garden nursery in your area about getting soil. They’ll often
deliver the soil which is worth it in my opinion. You could also use soil bags, it will just be
more expensive.

Enjoy!
