ICMR guidelines do not recommend sole dependence on Ct Value for patient management.
As per the MOH / ICMR guidelines, all samples are registered in the portal and results also updated
on ICMR portal
1. The test results of this kit are for clinical reference only. The clinical diagnosis and
treatment of patients should be considered in combination with their symptoms, medical history, other
2. Improper sample collection, processing & transportation, and low sample concentration may cause
false negative results. Sensitivity of this test results depends upon the quality of the sample
submitted for testing, stage of infection, type of the specimen collected for testing, medical history and
clinical presentation.
3. Variations in the target sequence of the novel corona virus (COVID-19) or sequence changes
4. Negative result does not rule out the possibility of COVID 19 infection. False negative result
may be seen in samples collected too early or too late in infection and samples outside of viremic
phase. Repeat specimen collection may be considered after 2 to 4 days of first specimen collection.
