of technology which provides opportunities and at the same time
problems to nations. As a city becomes highly urbanized, its boundaries
are likewise becoming boundless as it connects with its neighboring
countries. Discuss and explain the concept of Global City in relation to
its location and boundaries. Countries discussed in class could provide a
significant contribution to your discussion.
Global city is the urban center that has considerable competitive
advantage. A system with a more international economy. It includes
headquarters for multinational companies, a variety of businesses,
including legal firms, and stock exchanges that have an impact on the
global economy. Most people live in global city to find opportunities
and job, this is why global cities are most populated in each country. It
is also a tourist attraction of a country, most of the known places and
famous infrastructure are in the global city. Most of the country use
global city to introduce their culture that’s give uniqueness in other
global city.
Global city is a boundless place where a mass of people work and
live. It is a city that has an impact on world politics, houses
multinational firms and non-governmental organizations, has a global
media presence, and has a sophisticated communication and
transportation infrastructure.
