1) Promote teamwork

When I work at Hovin, I realize cooperation between team members is very important. Our manager is
also doing just like that. In order to motivate the team, manager often bring people together, solve
problems in a teamwork manner, and encourage team members to fully participate in order to achieve a
common goal.

2) Set clear goals

Our company will have a monthly meeting every month. Manager Hsu will explain our goals in the next
month or next quarter, so that everyone in the team can clearly know what exactly those goals are, know
which jobs need to be prioritized, and which one are not.

3) Provide opportunities for self-development

When seeking to motivate a team, it is important to provide employees with opportunities for self-
development. Manager encourage everyone to learn new skills, give our team with the training what we
need in our careers. This is also improve the team’s level.

4) Provide rewards

There’s such a saying in China, “Rewards allure men to brave danger”. This means the importance of
rewards, paying employees the rewards what they are worth. When we exceed our goals, the manager will
provide bonuses. Which is a good way to motivate the team to do things.
