Shofna: Regarding the topic we are discussing this time, do you like fantasy films?
Rissa: of course, I really like fantasy genre films
Shofna: among the many fantasy films, there must be one film that is the best in your opinion, what is
that?Rissa: I think Harry Potter, this Harry Potter film is very exciting, you should watch it
Shofna: Wow, I really agree, speaking of Harry Potter, can you tell us about the film of “Harry Potter
and the Sorcerer’s Stone”?
Rissa: “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" is a film adaptation based on the phenomenal novel by
J.K. Rowling. This film tells the story of Harry Potter, an orphan who discovers that he is actually a
wizard and he is offered the opportunity to study at the famous wizarding school, Hogwarts School of
Witchcraft and Wizardry. “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" perfectly presents an enchanting
and imaginative wizarding world.

Shofna: What do you think about the characters in the Harry Potter films?
Rissa: The main actor, Daniel Radcliffe, plays an excellent role as Harry Potter. He managed to
portray a strong personality, fortitude, and interest in facing the challenges he faced at magic school.
Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley and Emma Watson as Hermione Granger also give standout
performances, giving a strong dimension to the friendship of the three main characters.

Shofna: What do you think about the plot?

Rissa: The film's storyline closely follows the original novel's plot, albeit with some trimming to fit
the film's running time. Although some important scenes in the novel may feel rushed, this film
manages to capture the essence and appeal of the delightful world of Harry Potter.

Shofna: What do you think is the advantage of this film?

Rissa: One of the significant strengths of this film is its visually stunning depiction of the wizarding
world. Stunning special effects, such as a ride on platform nine and a half at King's Cross Station and
exciting Quidditch matches, provide an entertaining experience for audiences. Apart from that, the
extraordinary acting of the main players is also one of the strengths of this film.

Shofna: What do you think is the weakness of this film?

Rissa: There are several drawbacks worth highlighting. Despite the effort made in inserting various
details from the novel, some scenes felt too quick and lacked depth. This may make viewers who
haven't read the book feel like there are some jumps in the plot. In addition, several supporting
characters who stand out in the novel do not receive adequate development in the film version.
