In the modern world, technology has changed the way many people connect to each other.

It has developed
various forms of relationships in our society. In my opinion, this development helps many individuals in a
good way and brings out some drawbacks at the same time.

On the one hand, technology development has made human interaction extremely extended. It is obvious
that technology has given rise to online relationships. Whereas we had a pen pal to share hobbies with in
the past, we now have online friends. Nowadays, everyone can create a free Facebook or Instagram
account and build their own networks on these platforms no matter where they are. On the Internet, we can
find the one or a society who have interests in common with us. Thus, a new friendship has been made.
Everything is going smoothly in our society these days. We can get any message every time from
anywhere just by having the internet. We can see and talk to each other virtually all over the world. The
evolution of technology in different ways effectively influences our daily lives.

On the other hand, these changes have some disadvantages. Although people are able to communicate with
each other more frequently, they all feel a lack of human interaction because all these online relationships
are somehow virtual. Online friendships may not become deep because we cannot know their true
personalities behind a virtual profile they provided. In addition, social media invades an individual’s
privacy since everyone can see what goes on in a personal life. Moreover, technology advices keep people
away from their families and people around them as they pay more attention to online relationships who
they do not really know. These has made the high-tech evolution a negative effect to society on the whole.

To summarize, the change in the way human interact may benefit human interaction in some way but it has
affected negatively to other aspects of our lives. Persionally, I believe the drawbacks of technology
advance outweigh its advantages.
