TESLA AUTOPILOT CAR

Tesla Autopilot is an advanced driver-assistance system developed by Tesla. That reduces overall
workload as a driver. Each Tesla vehicle is equipped with eight external cameras and powerful
vision processing to provide an additional layer of safety to the driver, passengers and to the car
itself. The Tesla Car with the mentioned features costs 144,990 in US Dollars and about
8,256,660 in Philippine peso.
The featured offered by Tesla to this called Self Driving Cars is that after the owner programmed
and set up this feature is that the car has lane centering, adaptive cruise control, self-parking,
automatically change lanes without requiring driver steering and able the car to be summoned
from a garage or parking spot by commanding it on the Tesla App with its GPS plotted on their
phones. This advanced technology relies on different equipment installed in the car such as: eight
cameras, radar, sensors, robust neutral net processing to know the car’s surroundings and grant
every drivers awareness of what happening outside the Tesla car. With a help of this powerful
onboard computer that can process every input the sensor senses in just a millisecond to make
the driving activity safer and less stressful. Tesla aims to give efficiency and ease to the drivers,
as well as security by offering GPS trackers and minimal to no bump to bump sideways. But still,
such inevitable measures are observed as knowing it is technology- based, hackers may have the
opportunity to sneak in control, minimizing driver control over the car.
