Dear Marcus,
Hi! Thanks for your last letter. I have some great news for you. I’m going to
Manchester this weekend on a shopping trip with my cousin Maria. It’s a special treat
for the Easter holidays.
We’re staying at the Copthorne Hotel in the city centre. That’s good because it will
be easy for us to go to all the main shopping areas.
On Saturday morning we’re going to Harvey Nichols in Cathedral Street. It’s a bit
expensive but I hope to find some bargains. In the afternoon we’ll probably go to the
Lowry Mall. It’s a marvellous place. It has all the latest fashions from the world’s top
designers.
On Saturday evening Maria wants to go to Dimitri’s Taverna in Tonman Street. It’s
a great place and the food is tasty.
We’re leaving early on Sunday morning – what a pity!
Write soon.
Love,
Alison
