Step 17. Transfer the rice into the hot food pan Step 18. Flat the rice at the same level
Step 19. Close the lid and label the lid with discard time Step 20. Carefully place the food pan on the hot food table

IMPORTANT NOTES
Wooden or plastic utensils must be used to protect the Teflon coating of inner pot from scratches when
stirring or transferring cooked rice to hot food pan. Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to
clean the inner pan.
Make sure bottom of the cooking pot is not bent or warped, or it will not conduct heat correctly. It
will affect the quality of cooked rice.
Cook only in a removable cooking pot. Never place water or food directly into the base.
