MEDICAL CAMP AT KOALPARA, WEST BENGAL

JEEB SEVA - SHIV SEVA

The Koalpara Free Medical Camp was organised, 13th edition, on 7th October,
2023. Dr Aloke Raha led the event as usual. Patients queued up before the team
went from Kolkata, Kharagpur and Bardhaman. It was a pleasure to serve the
weaker section in the agrarian area, mostly comprising of women (142) and
children (62) of all ages. The event was attended by: Dr Aloke Raha, Dr Anup
Mallick, Dr Nabadwip Sen, Dr Bhaskar Chakraborty, Dr Sanjib Chakraborty, Mrs &
Mr Parna Chakraborty, Pradip Majumdar, Ashish Ghosh, Banibrata Kar, Mrs & Mr
Raja Chakraborty, Abhijeet Sadhu, Samudra Mitra and other volunteers of
Vidyapith Praktani and Ramakrishna Mission Yogashram, Koalpara.

THE KOLKATA BIJAYA SAMMELANI

The Kolkata Bijaya Sammelani was held n 5th Nov,’23 with Praktanis attending in spite
of WC2023 Cricket match at The Eden Gardens. We had a free-wheeling discussion on
Praktani functioning, changes in VIdyapith and society overall over the years, Reunion
and how to create events attractive to young brothers as per changing times.
Traditional Bengali lunch was organised. The event was attended by: Pradip
Majumdar, Tirtha Sen, Deb Kumar Banerjee, Raja Chakraborty, Premananda Ghatak,
Ashim Kumar Saha, Subrata Kundu, Manish Priyadarshi **, Amitava Ghosh, Dr Palash
Mondal, Dr Subrat Kumar ##, Jayanta Nandy, Avinash Singh, Pushpendra Mishra,
Abhijeet Sadhu, Bikash Lath, Amitava Chakravarty, Shambo Chakrabrty, Samudra
Mitra & Dr Krishnendu Sarkar. Praktanis of Kolkata region were glad to have Hon
President ** and Secretary ## at the event who came only for this event.
