Title: Beginning of the Baking Science Exploration Journey

Since the last time I wrote my blog journal, I've made significant progress and

have really begun the scientific baking journey. My research goes well and I have been

busy delving into the science of baking. I've organized through academic references

focusing on the complex interactions between baking ingredients and the effects of

various techniques on the final product. It's been an eye-opener to see how science can

play an important role in baking. Alongside my research, I am also actively doing hands-

on experiments in the kitchen. This is a combination of theory and practice that is both

exciting and challenging. I observe how different ingredients and techniques affect the

texture and flavour of baked goods and record each step to share with the audience.

The video production part of my project is also progressing. I have been filming my

experiments on video and am currently editing the footage to create an engaging and

informative presentation. This is where my baking journey will come to life and allow

viewers to see the science for themselves.

Balancing the capstone project with regular schoolwork and extracurricular

activities has proven to be a challenging but manageable task. Over the next few

weeks, I plan to complete more hands-on experiments and gather more videos for the

presentation. I am also looking forward to share pictures and videos of my experiments,

which will provide a visual narrative of my progress. The final presentation is taking

shape and I can't wait to uncover the science behind baking in an engaging way.
