INTRODUCTION

Water is a universal solvent and very essential for an individually daily life rou-

tine. It is also one of the basic needs of people in order to live. The importance of water

can never be emphasized. Safety is the primary consideration in choosing a source for

potable water. Amidst this uncertainty a solution has appeared in the thousands of water

refilling stations. Many homes, schools, stores, offices rely on water refilling stations for

their potable water due to contaminated supply (Borromeo, 2015).

Purchasing drinking water from refilling station has turned into the most widely

recognized method for getting perfect and safe drinking water. There are presently more

than 20, 000 water refilling station in the nation, where up to 40% of families across the

country and 60% in the urban areas inhabitants purchase drinking water (Tulio, 2015).

Water is dependably sought after in light of the fact that it is in-superfluous and everyone

needs water to live; that is the motivation behind why the business is extremely lucrative.

It additionally has a cleaner taste that is useful for regular admission (The health benefit,

2013).

One of the distribution channels of KCC H 2O water station is the KCC canteen

and on the number of consumption of bottled water the KCC canteen consumes five

boxes of bottled water every day and the KCC offices consumes two to three five-gallon

purified water every week.

“KCC H2O Water Station” is a proposed feasibility study in Kabankalan Catholic

College, which aims to provide safe and clean purified drinking water. In order to com-

pete with the other water refilling stations, KCC H 2O will offer products of bottled puri-

fied water in refillable containers at a competitive and affordable price. The survey was

conducted to two-hundred fifty (250) participants from the target customers.

The proponents came up with this idea to put up a “KCC H 2O Water Station” be-

cause of the increasing needs for purified water here in Kabankalan City. The proposed

feasibility study will hold its store behind KCC High School Department, Brgy.1, Adela

St., Kabankalan City. The store is air conditioned for the convenience and comfort of

customers. It also provides parking space for those who are collecting bulk orders. KCC

H2O water station main advantages appear to be simplicity, quality, cost savings and cus -

tomer loyalty. The operation will start at 8:00 AM and will end at 7:00 PM, from Monday

to Saturday.

Statement of the problem

The feasibility study is intended to evaluate the feasibility of a water refilling sta-

tion which will be known as the “KCC H2O purified water refilling station”

Specifically, it aims to evaluate and analyze the following areas: marketing, tech-

nical, management, financial and the socio-economic aspects.

Significance of the study

The study may be significant to the following:

KCC Community. The proponents believe that this study may benefit the KCC

community if this proposed feasibility study will be feasible so that they have an idea

how to put up a water refilling station.

Customers. The proponents believe that the customers may benefit because the

study is made for them and the product is at a reasonable price. They will benefit by buy-

ing the product because it is safe, clean and pure.

Proponents. The proponents may gain new ideas, knowledge and skills about the

procedure of production process and purification of drinking water that they can use in

the future.

Future Proponents. Through this study, future proponents will have an effective

way of showcasing what they have learned and come up with an output, in the form of

making a feasibility study that would benefit others. This study will serve as background

and additional information on how to establish a successful start in water refilling station

business.

Definition of terms

For clarification of this study the following terms are defined:

Demand Analysis. Alludes to the want, upheld by the essential capacity to pay.
