The LSQ5 is a powerful power source inverter for gas metal-arc welding (GMAW) in automatic robot welding
systems, and is designed to provide the power required for welding.
The power source must only be used in closed rooms and for industrial purposes.

Unlike conventional inverter power sources, the LSQ5 with its Direct Control Technology controls the
switching transistors without a fixed clock frequency directly in accordance with the requirements of the
welding process. It therefore supplies the exact amount of energy that is required for the welding process
without a time delay.

The LSQ5 power source can be configured through a panel that contains just four LED’s and two buttons.
As well as the status indicator that is shown in welding mode and the expanded alarm indicator, this unit can
also display the current settings.
The operating voltage and the operating mode can be adjusted for worldwide use without opening the power
source.
