Oppenheimer
My name is J. Robert Oppenheimer, I was an American theoretical physicist and I
was born on April 22, 1904 and died on February 18, 1967. I was one of the most
important figures in the development of theoretical and experimental physics during
the 20th century.
And I will tell you 6 facts about me
1) I was leader of the Manhattan Project, a top-secret project for the
development of the first atomic bomb
2) I studied at Harvard University and did my graduate studies in Europe under
the tutelage of physicists such as Max Born and Werner Heisenberg.
3) I contributed significantly to quantum mechanics and quantum field theory.
4) I was director of the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, where I
continued in theoretical physics.
5) My research helped advance the understanding of atomic and molecular
structure.
6) and finally, I conducted research that contributed to the understanding of
physical processes within stars.
My most famous quote is: I am become death, destroyer of worlds.
