a. What operational problems (for example, inefficiency, errors, fraud) do you think Blue
Sky could experience because of this structure?

 Weak systems and ineffective procedures that result in the manager's and
VP's working differences could be operational issues for Blue Sky. In that instance,
as they use various information-gathering techniques, it may lead to
misunderstandings and misinterpretations. The VP should therefore be in line with
the profession of the managers in each department so that they can comprehend the
process and concept specific to their area of expertise. Since there isn't an IT
department within the company's structure, I also assume that they use a manual
system. Because the knowledge is not readily available to everyone in that situation,
they might perceive a weak system. It may lead to inconvenience and ineffective
information processing. For instance, the inventory management is typically found in
the warehouse, despite the fact that the finance department requires a count of the
inventory in order to assess the cash disbursement of materials purchased. In that
regard, if the company's office is far away, it is inconvenient to travel with the papers.
As a result, with a modern system, information may be transferred on a single
platform to which everyone has access. Generally speaking, it is preferable for the
business to create an IT department with a focus on the accounting information
system.

b. Draw a new diagram reflecting an improved structure that solves the problems you

company experience because of this structure?

 One of the top television networks in the Philippines, particularly when it comes to
news reporting, is GMA 7 Network Inc. In that circumstance, they are obligated to
provide the public with truthful and transparent information regarding the state of the
nation. However, given their organizational structure, redundancy of information is
one operational issue that could arise. In a sense, even though they use many
platforms to disseminate the news, the information is getting through departments
like entertainment, radio broadcasting, and news and public affairs. For instance, the
morning show rebroadcasts the news from the nighttime show. In that situation, a
system that separates information collecting into various time slots may be useful.
The material is so timely and relevant for the general public.
