Registration is on for 8th Huawei ICT Competition 2023-24

Huawei ICT Competition is a competitive ICT Talent exchange event deployed by Huawei for
students globally. This year, we are launching the 8th Huawei ICT Competition Globally.

Students will compete in the National state to win the entrance ticket of Regional Stage and finally
get the chance to compete with students from all over the world in the Global Stage.

Huawei ICT Competition has two types of competition track

1. Practical Competition Track

2. Innovation Competition Track

1. Innovation competition Track Rule

1. Who can participate:

The contestants must be college and university students.

2. Requirements for participating teams:

1. Each team must consist of one instructor and no more than three students. The instructor
and students must come from the same Huawei ICT Academy.

2. Develop innovative projects that are physical and practical and based on industry
application scenarios by using technologies such as AI (mandatory), cloud computing, IoT,
big data, Kunpeng, and HarmonyOS

3. The team cannot swap instructor or any of the participating students after they have been
successfully admitted to the competition.

4. For the Huawei ICT Competition 2023–2024, team recommendations have been canceled.
Teams that do not adopt Huawei's technologies in their projects or entries will be
disqualified from the Global Final.

2.Practical Competition Track Participating Rules for Ethiopian students

 1. [Must], National Participants (between Ethiopian Higher Education) must register with
new Huawei ICT Academy ID [even if you are already member of Huawei ICT
Academy].
2. Regional Final Participants (between African Countries) must have any of a Huawei ICT
Academy Certificate
3. Regional Final Participants be from A valid Huawei ICT Academy.
4. Regional final is a team competition. A team must include 3 students and 1 instructor

1. Create new Huawei ICT Academy account (even if you are already member of Huawei
ICT Academy) then associate to one of our Huawei ICT Academy.
2. Make sure you got approval from the University Huawei ICT Academy Administrator
3. Click on the 8th Huawei ICT competition registration.
